Pacific Business News wedding article

Today I read a shocking article
in the September 15, 2014 issue of the Pacific Business News. According to the article, the average cost of
a wedding in Honolulu
is $52,190.
In my last blog post, I said that
the national average is $29,858; that makes the weddings here in Hawaii almost double the
national average, wow! If newly weds can
afford a high price tag, I’d say go for it, but if not, don’t go broke trying. With
that kind of money, why not use it for a down payment on a starter home. Don’t get me wrong though, I love the beauty
and details that go into high end weddings, in fact I have officiated for many.
What worries me is that many couples get way over their head, and end up having
to start their lives together in big debt. The most affordable wedding in Hawaii is the beach
wedding. You have the soft white sand,
aqua blue ocean, palm trees, what else can you ask for? Take a look at my photo gallery, you will see
